The Making of Glitch Textiles

This fall I had the great pleasure and honor of visiting the mills of Pure Country Weavers down in North Carolina where GlitchTextiles Woven Throws are made.

While touring the weaving floor, I shot some video of the looms in action while they were working on some test patterns for me. It's an absolute joy to watch these colossal machines at work. Each blanket is woven with about a mile's worth of yarn!

They have something like 30+ of these looms thrumming away during regular hours on all sorts of projects ranging from blankets to fine art tapestries. American manufacturing at its finest.
