The design is generated by visualizing the SARS-CoV-2 virus genome using custom software written by Phillip David Stearns. SARS-CoV-2 infection leads to COVID-19. The endeavor is meant to raise awareness of the impacts of the pandemic as well as to support those who have been impacted by it.

The design visualizes a section of the SARS-CoV-2. Somewhere within this code lies our best chances of overcoming the challenges that COVID-19 presents, promising the hope for vaccine and treatments.
